This policy explains how information is handled when you visit cynthiahowar.com or contact Cynthia “Cindy” Howar and Anthony DiMare through this website. Cindy is affiliated with Washington Fine Properties, LLC. It covers this website; separate brokerage, transaction and third-party services may have their own privacy notices.
Information you choose to share
You can browse without creating an account. The contact form sends your name, email address, optional phone number, inquiry details and selected communication preferences to Cindy, with Anthony copied at their Washington Fine Properties email addresses, when you press “Send inquiry to Cindy.” Resend processes the submission to deliver that email. Its Privacy Policy describes its handling of email-delivery data. Separate email and telephone links open your own email app or dialer. An email draft is sent only when you choose to send it. The team uses your information to respond to your inquiry and assist with the real estate services you request. The site checks submissions for validity and abuse, including using a short-lived signed form token tied to a hashed network address. It does not maintain a separate inquiry database; delivery records and the team’s email copies may be retained by their respective providers. A confirmation page means the email service accepted your request, not that a showing or consultation has been booked.
Optional communication choices
The contact page offers separate, optional choices for calls or texts about your inquiry and for marketing emails about properties and market updates. Neither box is selected by default, and neither is required to make an inquiry or purchase services. The inquiry option does not authorize marketing calls or texts.
Your selections are added to an email draft addressed to Cindy with Anthony copied. Checking a box does not send a message, subscribe you to a list or create a consent record on the website. Review the preferences before sending; the team receives them only if you send the email. The website does not save these choices in cookies or local storage. Your email provider handles the draft and sent message under its own policies.
You can ask Cindy to stop inquiry calls or texts by replying, emailing or calling, and opt out of marketing emails by replying to an email. Contact details appear below.
Cindy’s website guide
The guide matches your questions with prepared answers in your browser. It is not a live agent or a connection to an external AI service. Questions and answers are held in the open page’s memory; the guide does not automatically send them to the team or save a conversation on the website’s server. Reloading or leaving the page clears that conversation.
If you choose “Open email draft,” the guide places conversation text into a draft addressed to Cindy, with Anthony copied at his Washington Fine Properties email address, for you to review and send. Copying or downloading a transcript places a copy on your device. Your email provider handles a draft or message under its own policies. Please do not enter passwords, Social Security numbers, payment details or confidential transaction documents into the guide.
Browser storage and technical information
The site uses session storage to remember whether you have tucked away the guide. This stores a display preference, not your questions or contact details. You can clear it through your browser’s site-data settings. The site also stores your advertising measurement choice as described below. It does not use Google Analytics.
Website hosting and delivery services, including OpenAI’s Sites platform and its delivery infrastructure, may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Their processing is separate from the guide’s local conversation handling.
Optional advertising measurement
With your permission, this site loads the OpenAI measurement pixel to help measure our ChatGPT advertising. It records page views, email-draft requests, phone-link clicks and successfully submitted inquiries. A click does not confirm that an email was sent, a call connected or a consultation was booked.
Our event code sends the canonical page path and the type of action, not email drafts, website-guide conversations, URL query text or communication preferences. OpenAI also receives technical information through the pixel, such as browser information, IP address and measurement identifiers. Its automatic advanced matching feature may detect supported customer information in recognizable website forms or other sources and send a normalized, hashed version; we do not manually supply customer identifiers. The advertising pixel is blocked on the contact form page. A successful submission can be measured on a separate confirmation page that contains none of your form fields or message. The measurement event uses a receipt reference, not your contact details; an inquiry submission is not a booked appointment.
The pixel can store an ad-click reference in the __oppref cookie for up to 30 days and a browser reference in __obref for up to 365 days. Browser settings may shorten these periods. We flag events to opt out of future user-level personalization. See OpenAI’s Privacy Policy and pixel documentation for its processing and retention practices.
Choose “Allow measurement” or “No thanks” in the notice. No measurement pixel loads before permission. You can change your decision through “Privacy choices” in the footer. Your choice is stored on this browser for up to 180 days; the site honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals by keeping advertising measurement off. Withdrawing permission stops future events and clears the pixel’s first-party measurement cookies; it does not erase data already received by OpenAI. You can use all inquiry features without measurement consent. This choice is separate from the optional inquiry call/text and marketing email preferences.
Maps, video, fonts and outside websites
Pages use Google Fonts and may load embedded Vimeo videos, including the homepage film. Neighborhood pages link to Google Maps, which loads only when you choose to open the link. Loading these services sends requests from your browser to their providers, which can receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details. Vimeo may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. Embedded Vimeo videos request Vimeo’s reduced-tracking mode; that does not mean no technical information is transmitted.
See Google’s Privacy Policy, Vimeo’s Privacy Policy and OpenAI’s Privacy Policy. Links to brokerage sites, publishers and social platforms take you to services governed by their own policies. Browser controls can restrict cookies, storage and embedded content, although some features may not work.
Use, sharing and retention
Information you send may be handled by Cindy, Anthony, Washington Fine Properties and service providers supporting communications or requested services. Information may also be disclosed when necessary to comply with law, protect rights or security, or carry out a service you authorize. Inquiry and transaction records may be retained as needed for those purposes and applicable recordkeeping obligations; retention depends on the record and the service involved.
Your choices and requests
Contact Cindy to ask about information you have supplied, request access, correction or deletion, or ask the team to stop marketing communications. Available rights and any limits on a request depend on applicable law and recordkeeping obligations. Do not send sensitive identity documents with an initial request. Clearing your browser does not delete messages you have already sent.
